Career Opportunities
Barchester Healthcare offers a unique chance to grow your career in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Regional Senior Care Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in elderly care, working closely with our experienced team members to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.

Your day-to-day activities will involve monitoring the delivery of care, contributing to person-centred care planning, and recording observations on various aspects of care. You'll also provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting their overall wellbeing.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in elderly care principles, preferably with a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care and a commitment to completing an NVQ 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as are the ability to work effectively within a team environment and a valid driving licence with reliable transportation. We'll cover your mileage when you travel over five miles from your main home, and if you're on duty at the time of an inspection and we achieve a Good' rating, you'll qualify for a bonus. In addition, you'll receive a competitive salary package, including a generous bonus scheme, access to ongoing training and development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.
