Compassionate Senior Care Worker

We're looking for a compassionate Senior Care Worker to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to residents across a 20-mile radius. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring care delivery, contributing to person-centred care planning, and recording important observations. You'll also provide support and companionship to ensure every resident enjoys meaningful one-on-one time with carers.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties as a Senior Care Worker will be varied and rewarding. You'll monitor care delivery when on duty, contribute to person-centred care planning, and record observations on temperature, blood pressure, and other essential tasks. You'll also provide support and companionship to residents, ensuring they enjoy meaningful one-to-one time with carers. Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Requirements
To succeed as a Senior Care Worker, you'll need a background in care, a good understanding of elderly care, and a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care. Ideally, you'll have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths, and a passion for delivering exceptional care. A good understanding of the wider healthcare industry is also essential. If you're dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about people, we encourage you to apply. Please note that you'll need a car or ready access to one for travelling across the area. Mileage will be covered when travelling over five miles from home, and a bonus may be available for achieving a Good' rating during an inspection.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £27,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including mileage reimbursement, a bonus scheme, and opportunities for career advancement within our organisation.
