About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Teams. As a Social Worker with BCP Council, you will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable children and their families, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop individualized plans.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families, including those with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
- Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to ensure ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with children and families.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or related field.
- Post-qualifying award (e.g., Practice Education) or willingness to undertake Practice Education training.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with vulnerable children and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.
