Job Overview: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council is seeking a highly skilled social worker to fill the role of Social Worker - Level 2 Position within our Children in Care Teams.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Social Worker - Level 2 Position, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with children, young people, and families to assess and address their needs and concerns
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to promote the safety and well-being of children
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice and guidance on child safeguarding practices
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in social work, preferably with post-qualifying experience in child safeguarding and welfare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £33,000 - £39,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
