Safeguarding the welfare of children is a top priority for BCP Council. We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding Partnership Manager to lead our efforts in protecting vulnerable young people across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new Safeguarding Children Partnership as its Manager. You will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the effectiveness of local arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of children across BCP.

You will work closely with our partners, including BCP Council, NHS Dorset, and Dorset Police, to ensure the effective coordination of the partnership's responses to child safeguarding practice reviews and monitoring any actions identified.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures. If you have a background in safeguarding and a passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children, we encourage you to apply.

The salary for this position is between £58,485 and £62,181 per annum, depending on the working pattern. The working hours are 30-37 hours per week, and the location is BCP Civic.
