About the Position:

Connect2Socialwork is seeking a highly experienced Adult Safeguarding Practitioner to join our team in Bournemouth. As a specialist in adult safeguarding, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults
  2. Pursuing legal actions on behalf of service users
  3. Evaluating care needs and developing personalized support plans
  4. Applying key principles of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Best Interests (BI)
  5. Negotiating healthcare funding and collaborative applications with other stakeholders
  6. Preparing and presenting funding requests to secure necessary resources
  7. Collaborating with colleagues and managers to achieve shared objectives

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Registered with the Social Work England (SWE) register
  2. Eligible to work in the UK
  3. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for professional use
  4. Minimum of post-qualified experience in social work
  5. Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Social Work
