About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker specializing in working with vulnerable adults to join our team in Bournemouth. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating care needs and developing comprehensive support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluating care needs and developing comprehensive support plans
  2. Safeguarding and ensuring the well-being of vulnerable adults
  3. Pursuing court cases on behalf of service users
  4. Applying principles of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Best Interests (BI) procedures
  5. Negotiating Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding and joint applications with other stakeholders
  6. Presenting funding requests to secure necessary resources
  7. Collaborating effectively with colleagues and managers to achieve shared goals

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Registration with the Social Work England (SWE) register
  2. Eligibility to work within the UK
  3. A valid driver's license and access to a car for professional travel
  4. A minimum of post-qualified experience in social work
  5. A degree-level qualification or equivalent in Social Work
