Child Protection Social Worker Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Children's Social Worker to work with our client based in Bournemouth, Dorset.
Pay: £48 per hour
About the Role:- Support children and families from initial strategy meetings to Public Law Outline proceedings and court work.
- Assess Child in Need cases and investigate allegations of child abuse under Child Protection procedures.
- Develop and implement Child Protection Plans following Child Protection Conference reports.
- Apply for Emergency Protection Orders as necessary.
- Provide Section 17 support to Children in Need and their families.
- Attend court and present reports.
- Ensure compliance with the Children Act 1989 (sections 17 and 47).
- Engage in direct work with children and families.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation. You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
