This SEN Support Worker role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEN. We offer a competitive salary scale of £12.82 - £14.72 per hour, depending on experience.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to develop tailored support strategies.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students remain engaged and focused.
  • Monitor student progress and report back to teaching staff on developments.
  • Support students' emotional and social well-being, maintaining a nurturing approach.
  • Assist with personal care needs where required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and adapt support strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusivity and equality.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new check.
