Child Development Worker

The Outreach Youth Worker will provide specialist support to students in community venues or residential settings, depending on their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities- To provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them build confidence and improve their social skills.
- To help students develop important life skills, such as problem-solving, decision-making, time management, goal-setting, and communication.
- To foster self-esteem and self-worth by offering encouragement and helping students recognize their strengths and talents.
- To act as a positive role model, demonstrating behaviours, values, and attitudes that encourage young people to emulate.
- At least 2 years of experience working with young people, particularly those with challenging behaviour or complex needs.
- A flexible approach to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Enhanced DBS on the update system (or willingness to apply for a new DBS if required).
- The legal right to work in the UK.
This role comes with a competitive salary of £20 per hour, paid hourly rate based on industry standards for similar roles in the area.
