About the Role:
As a Casual Child Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital part in providing care and support to children and young people with complex needs at Budwood Ltd. This is a flexible and rewarding role that requires a passionate and experienced individual who can provide individualized care packages, promoting the welfare and well-being of our residents.

Budwood Ltd is a local business that provides residential care and support to children and young adults with emotional behavioral difficulties and social/emotional mental health issues. We strive to create a stable and comfortable home environment, supporting our residents in learning new skills for independence and adulthood.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing care and support to children and young people with complex needs
  • Covering sicknesses, annual leave, and varying hours/shifts as needed
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of our residents
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residents
  • Working collaboratively as part of a small team

Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual who possesses excellent communication and listening skills, flexibility in availability, and a full UK driving license and car. A Level 4 diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is also required. The successful candidate must have experience working with children and young people, understanding the issues facing young people in care, and be able to work towards a Level 4 diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

What We Offer:
Budwood Ltd offers a competitive salary of £11.17 per hour (dependent on qualification and experience) and a range of benefits including a sleep-in allowance of £64 per night, holiday accrual, all meals provided while on duty, promotion opportunities, and monthly clinical and professional supervisions.
