Budwood Limited is a local business providing residential care and support to children and young adults with emotional behavioural difficulties. Our aim is to provide them with a stable, comfortable home, high levels of support and guidance, and help them learn new skills for a successful transition to independence and adulthood.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £11.17 per hour, which is dependent on qualification and experience. Additionally, you will receive a sleep-in allowance of £64 per night, holiday accrual, all meals on duty are provided, promotion opportunities, and monthly clinical and professional supervisions.

Job Description:
We are looking for passionate Residential Support Workers to join one of our homes in Bournemouth on a casual basis, covering shifts within the business as and when needed. You will be part of a team providing flexible and individual care packages towards all our children and young adults. Your duties will include promoting, safeguarding and protecting the welfare of our young people, establishing and maintaining positive and trusting relationships with them, and working well as part of a team and accepting direction and guidance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working with children and young people, an understanding of the issues that face young people in care, flexibility in your availability to cover sicknesses, annual leave, and a range of hours/shifts, and a willingness to undertake a DBS check at enhanced level. A Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent qualification is also essential. Furthermore, you will need to possess excellent communication and listening skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well as part of a small team.
