Residential Childcare Position

CV-Library is looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team in Dorchester. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties and social and emotional mental health.

In this role, you will work closely with the management team to develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. You will also participate in shift work, including sleep-ins, on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people to help them develop new skills and achieve their goals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with children, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in our care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide flexible and individual care packages.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • A competitive annual salary of £23,063.04.
  • A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night.
  • Generous holiday entitlement.
  • All meals on duty provided.
