Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our team at BCP Council. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Social Worker to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
The successful candidate will have high quality skills in analysis of risk and decision making, experience in front line social work safeguarding, and a commitment to continuous professional development. They will also be able to work with complex referrals and challenging casework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing risk and making informed decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans to prevent harm and promote positive outcomes
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support to children and families
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the evaluation of services to improve practice
