About the Role
Coram Voice is seeking a skilled and passionate Youth Advocate to join our team in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. As a self-employed Associate Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the rights of children and young people.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships with young people, families, and professionals. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering high-quality advocacy services.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people. If you have experience working with children and young people, particularly those with disabilities, and are committed to promoting their rights and interests, we would love to hear from you.
In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to work alongside a dedicated team who share your values and are committed to making a difference. You will be responsible for providing independent advocacy services to children and young people, helping them to express their views and wishes, and ensuring their voices are heard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality advocacy services to children and young people, including supporting them to express their views and wishes.
- Build strong relationships with young people, families, and professionals to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures to inform advocacy practice.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships.
- Commitment to promoting the rights and interests of children and young people.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and adaptability.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures affecting children and young people.
Salary: £ £35-40 per hour (dependent on experience)
