Family Support and Wellbeing Professional

iPeople Solutions is seeking a qualified Family Support and Wellbeing Professional to join our team in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Hourly Rate: £48 per hour

About the Role:
  • Support children and families through the Child Protection process, including strategy meetings and court appearances.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of Child in Need cases and investigate allegations of child abuse.
  • Develop and implement effective Child Protection Plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams.
  • Provide vital support to Children in Need and their families under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989.
  • Present expert reports in court to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 (sections 17 and 47).
  • Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through direct work and effective communication.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Annual Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, commensurate with experience.
