Job Overview: Youth Care Programme Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Youth Care Programme Director at Whitetrees Group. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the youth care programme, ensuring that our young people receive a high-quality care service.

About You:

To be successful in this position, you must have 12 months of experience in a deputy role, QCF Level 3 minimum, and a willingness to complete QCF Level 5. You should also possess excellent leadership skills, able to mentor and coach staff members effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safeguarding: Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the young people (as DSL in the Manager's absence).
  2. Leadership: Demonstrate effective leadership to support the staff team.
  3. Programme Development: Develop and maintain good working relationships with parents, social workers, schools, and other professionals.
  4. Training and Development: Participate in monthly supervisions, undertake White Trees Induction Programme, and complete regular NFPS Physical Intervention and Behaviour Management Training.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £37,600 - £38,640 per annum, inclusive of sleep ins (£30) and on-call shifts (£60). You will also benefit from a competitive benefits package, including access to Level 5 through our internal promotions programme.
