Job Description

As a key member of the Janus International Europe Ltd team, the European Director of Noké Business Development will be responsible for driving strategic growth of the Noké portfolio in European markets. This involves defining and implementing the commercial strategy for the Noké portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing partnerships that align with our objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy for growth across European markets, analysing and prioritising markets to identify opportunities for expansion and new revenue streams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure strategic goals are met, collaborating with marketing, product development, and operations to drive business growth.

Market Development:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders across various countries in Europe, leading negotiations for high-value partnerships.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine the go-to-market strategy, ensuring the Noké portfolio remains competitive in European markets.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and execute business plans aimed at achieving sales targets and revenue growth in existing and new markets, driving the sales strategy and leading the sales team to ensure performance metrics are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Identify and pursue key accounts, developing tailored solutions for clients to maintain and develop long-term profitable relationships.

Operational Support:

  • Ensure the correct teams, processes, and services are in place to support the installation and service of Noké projects across the UK and Europe.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development and sales team across different European regions, providing regular coaching, support, and performance management for team members to meet individual and collective goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction across the whole customer lifecycle.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on business performance and market trends to the executive leadership team, preparing forecasts, budgets, and growth projections to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, legal frameworks, and business best practices across European regions.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

Education:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, with an MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Skills:

  • Sales Leadership: Proven track record of leading business development and sales initiatives, achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, or general management roles, with in-depth knowledge of European markets, regulations, and industry dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of technology trends, digital transformation, software, hardware, and emerging technologies.
