About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Officer to join our team at Rugby Borough Council. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, with experience in legislation and compliance.

In this role, you will provide expert advice and guidance on legal matters, ensuring that our policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining our organisational policies and procedures, ensuring that they are fair, transparent, and effective.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the council. You will also have a strong understanding of the local government sector and the challenges faced by councils like ours.

Benefits Package
