Sustainability Specialist

**Job Overview:**
Häfele UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Sustainability Specialist to lead our efforts in driving sustainable initiatives and compliance across the business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership and strategy, with experience in developing and maintaining product compliance policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Developing and maintaining product compliance policies to ensure adherence to standards such as WEEE COSHH UKCA and RoHS.
- Leading efforts to evaluate and improve the environmental footprint of the company, including energy and waste stream reduction plans.
- Collaborating with supply chain partners to ensure sustainable product sourcing.
**Requirements:**
- Over 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in a warehouse or production environment.
- Knowledge of social and environmental responsibility in the supply chain.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in a wide range of industries, including electronic metal hardware and wood products.
- Project management skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.
