WAREHOUSE CO-ORDINATOR

WAREHOUSE LEADERSHIP

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- Responsible for the Administration functions on the Pick desk.
- Allocation of picks in accordance to SLA’s
- Monitor and maintain Pick Desk mailbox within agreed SLA’s
- Problem resolution and escalation where appropriate
- Maintain records of issues
- Monitor and highlight new issues and patterns
- Review and maintain Outbound processes
- Complete daily quality checks
- Assist operationally in any area of the warehouse as required.
- Promote & sustain a high level of service within the Administration teams as well as Internal & External customers.
- Identify and highlight any large/specialist orders to the Transport Co-ordinator so they can be delivered to the correct destination in the most effective and economical manner.
- Identify areas of improvement and inform managers
- Identify large orders in advance to maintain efficiencies’
- Continuously implement and follow Company processes and procedures to ensure that a high level of quality and accuracy is maintained at all times. Bring any problems or difficulties experienced with these procedures to the attention of the Team Leader.
- Follow all security procedures of the NDC at all times. Bring any non-conforming actions or observations to the attention of the Team Leader or any security personnel.
- Operate the mechanical Equipment inline with RTITB regulations and CDW policy.
- Maintain a comprehensive filing system of all CDW Supplier/Delivery/Pick Notes ensuring that all records are easily accessible.
- In Line with the Business needs, flexibility maybe required on Working hours inc holiday cover.
- Good housekeeping is essential and you will be required to keep the working areas of the business safe and clear of any item/object that hinders a safe working environment.
- To be continuously aware of company Health & Safety Policies, including environmental, and adhere to them at all times.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, preferably including: Excel, Outlook
- Strong communication skills.
- Must possess a proactive approach to problem solving at root cause, with a can do attitude
- Establishing and maintaining excellent internal and external service levels whilst constantly identifying improvements areas.
- Business management skills with a total commitment to the highest levels of customer service by helping managing performance KPIs, reducing waste and delivering measurable targets within the warehouse function.
- Multi-functional team player experienced in all aspects of general warehousing
- Awareness in investigation and remediation of issues and the failure of processes, the priority being the customer’s expectations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately
- Ability to ensure that the Health and Safety and housekeeping standards are kept to the highest possible level at all times.
