Salary:

£50,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Description:

As a Compliance and Risk Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organisation is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to charitable organisations. This will involve staying up-to-date with legal and regulatory changes and providing specialist advice to support decision making.

  • Oversee compliance with UK laws and regulations, including those related to charitable organisations
  • Manage risk and ensure good governance practices throughout the organisation
  • Work closely with senior management to identify areas for improvement and implement policies and systems to ensure compliance and good governance
  • Lead on annual review of insurance requirements to ensure insurance needs are met whilst delivering good value for money
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of UK laws and regulations, particularly in relation to charitable organisations. You should have experience of developing and implementing policies and systems to ensure compliance and good governance.

You should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A background in international development, including some time spent working overseas, would be highly desirable.
