Safety Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to lead our Health and Safety team. Your primary objective will be to foster a positive safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and maintain Health and Safety as our top priority.

The successful candidate will collaborate with our business units to ensure safe working practices are adhered to while meeting our high standards for external customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement Health and Safety improvement projects on an annual basis, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Maintain our existing ISO45001 management system standards, overseeing the annual external audit and ensuring continuous improvement.
  3. Lead and develop the Health and Safety team, providing guidance and support to all colleagues across the organization, fostering a positive safety culture.
  4. Regularly report to the Board and company leadership on key updates, ensuring that Health and Safety remains our top priority.

Requirements

  • Cultivate a commercially aware approach to Health and Safety, demonstrating resilience and self-motivation.
  • Hold a minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent, possess strong negotiation skills, and show extensive knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing and developing teams, with a background in implementing safety improvement projects, particularly those related to cultural change.

Compensation and Benefits
