About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Business Development Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our Commercial Insurance team, you will be responsible for providing quotations for New Business and Renewals, and assisting the office as a referral point for Assistants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service while meeting customer requirements efficiently and effectively for New Business.
  • Deal with all enquiries from clients in the branch, over the phone, and via email to ensure all targets are maximized.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an Insurer or Broker as an Account Handler/Account Handler.
  • Cert CII qualified or looking to take qualifications.
  • 2 years minimum experience working within a broking or underwriting environment.
  • Excellent insurance knowledge with strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work alone or within a team and have excellent people skills.
  • Competent skills in Microsoft Office.
