We're seeking an experienced Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving commercial insurance growth and developing strategic relationships with new insurers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding and supporting sales, business development, and relationship management with prospective insurers
- Building and maintaining key relationships with prospective insurers and identifying new business opportunities
- Managing the onboarding process for new insurers onto our products or existing panels
- Assisting and supporting key negotiations with new insurers to achieve the best financial results for Simply Business
- Overseeing projects to unlock capacity and support our commercial insurance strategy
We're looking for someone who is:
- Self-assured and calm in complex situations
- Experienced in handling commercial insurance negotiations and delivering results
- Able to use good judgment and make well-informed recommendations and decisions
- Creative with their solutions and new ideas to support negotiations
- Tactical and able to recognize trends and use them to inform new insurers' activity
