Head of Financial Planning and Analysis

Optimum Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. As a key member of our Management Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic commercial guidance to our organization, helping us achieve our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage financial plans and forecasts, working closely with our business partners to deliver robust and accurate results.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our forecasting, planning, and corporate reporting processes, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
- Performance Analysis: Prepare and evaluate revenue line PL's on a monthly basis, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance, support, and leadership to our team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Reporting and Communication: Create high-quality monthly board packs, presenting plans, forecasts, and actual results in a clear and actionable manner.
- Cash Flow Management: Develop and manage cash flow forecasts, reviewing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual comparisons against budget.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing approaches, identify areas for improvement, and implement process simplifications to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) with relevant PQE accounting experience.
- Experience: Proven experience in finance business partnering, fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Skills: Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills, self-starter with a high level of motivation, exceptional communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Industry Experience: Previous industry experience in FP&A or commercial finance.
