This company is experiencing exciting growth and is scaling up its back-office service teams. As a result, they have a new full-time position for a skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts for three individual companies, including supporting analysis and variance reports.
  • Support the transactional finance team with month-end routines, including reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Financial Manager in preparing rolling forecasts, analyzing business performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Oversee the VAT process and submissions to HMRC and Irish Revenue, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Prepare weekly payment runs for three purchase ledgers, managing cash flow and ensuring timely payments.
  • Manage Debtors and work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform margin analysis, sales commission statements, and pricing profitability analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and financial audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the Finance Manager, Finance Director, and finance team in achieving financial goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, with experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with financial systems and software, including accounting and reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
