Job Summary

This role involves working closely with children, developing personalized care plans, and ensuring their well-being while fostering a positive environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and possess the necessary skills to provide effective support in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to children in accordance with their individual care plans, promoting their social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tailored care strategies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made by each child, using technology to streamline processes and ensure data integrity.
  • Engage children in activities that promote their overall growth and development, adapting to their unique needs and preferences.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a residential or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A valid driving license, preferred for transportation purposes related to the role.
  • A background in childcare or related fields, though not mandatory, would be beneficial in understanding child development and care principles.
