Job Description

The Autism Hub Manager role is a key position at Resources for Autism, responsible for managing the delivery of services and support to autistic individuals and families in Barnet. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of autism, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing staff and coordinating projects.

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to create a welcoming and inclusive space for autistic people and their families. The Autism Hub Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hub, including managing staff, coordinating events, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the delivery of services and support to autistic individuals and families in Barnet.
  2. Coordinate the hiring and management of staff, including Hub Support Workers and administrators.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to promote the hub and its services to the local community.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports on service delivery and outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure effective joined-up working.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in health and social care.
  • Experience of managing staff and coordinating projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of autism and ability to adapt to different populations.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evening and weekend work.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £34,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
