TreeHouse school is a leading non-maintained special school that provides exceptional support and education to 100 autistic pupils aged 3-19. Our mission is to champion the rights of autistic children and young people, creating opportunities for them.

We are seeking a highly skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HTLA) to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity where you will work alongside the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality learning and teaching.

The Role Involves:

  • You'll take responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.
  • You'll work with identified curriculums, supporting specific subjects, and helping with lesson planning.
  • Developing learning resources, delivering lessons, and supporting the assessment of learning are key aspects of this role.
  • You'll also support extra-curricular activities like education visits and record/report pupil outcomes.

This full-time, permanent role has hours from 8:30 am to 4:35 pm. We're committed to equality of opportunity and diversity; all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. An estimated salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
