Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Talent Agenda: Ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time by managing talent management and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, providing expert advice on employment law and ER cases to keep the business safe and legal.
  • People Initiatives: Deliver national People projects, collaborating with the People and L&D teams to bring initiatives to life and embed change.
  • Operational Partnership: Act as a key connection between Operations and the wider business, supporting leadership decision-making and challenging where necessary to ensure people-first solutions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse People-related trends and metrics to drive proactive action and influence stakeholders.
  • Engagement and Listening: Play a key role in listening and engagement plans, working with Operations to deliver on Employee Engagement Survey results, upskilling managers to enhance team engagement.
  • Employee Development: Support talent appointments, attend key appointments, and help operational teams identify and grow emerging talent.
  • ER Case Management: Handle high-risk ER cases, balancing operational needs with business culture, commerciality, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a multi-site HR Business Partner.
  • Strong understanding of talent management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR IT systems, Excel, and data analytics, with the ability to manipulate spreadsheets and present data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders.
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel across multiple locations as needed.
