Care Manager for Residential Children's Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Manager for our residential children's service. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people with complex needs.

Progress Care Solutions is a leading provider of specialist care services for children and young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and associated behavioral challenges. Our experienced team is passionate about delivering person-centered care that promotes independence, inclusion, and well-being.
The Role:
You will work closely with our senior management team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our residents, their families, and other stakeholders. You will also contribute to the development of our staff through training and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality care and support that promotes independence and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a team leader in a residential setting.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- Ability to communicate on various levels.
- Working knowledge of care plans.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum, plus benefits including funded DBS, private health cashback plan, online GP, scans, physio, counselling, death in service, contributory pension, annual leave purchase scheme, and broad training and development opportunities.
Educational Requirements:
- NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
