We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a skilled Residential Care Worker to join our team in Children's Services. This exciting opportunity involves working with children and young people who require ongoing care and support in a residential home setting.

About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to two young people on a daily basis. Your key tasks will include:

  • Supporting our children and young people emotionally and practically, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Delivering the young person's care plans and providing supportive, nurturing care and emotional support.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve positive outcomes for our children and young people.

You will be expected to work flexible hours, including shifts, sleep-ins, weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and sleep-in on a rota basis. Our organization offers a range of benefits, including annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, sleep-in payments of £32, sick pay, and other benefits.

To be eligible for this role, you must possess an NVQ 3 Diploma in residential childcare (QCF) or equivalent qualification. As a Disability Confident employer, WMJobs guarantees an interview if your application meets the necessary requirements.
