Lead Residential Care Role

We are recruiting for a highly motivated and caring individual to join our EBD Childrens home in Wolverhampton as a Lead Residential Care worker. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment, supporting young people to feel safe, respected, and confident.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Residential Care worker, you will be responsible for managing and developing your staff team, placement requests, and rotas. You will also lead a team on a day-to-day basis, make decisions in line with policy and procedures, ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date, promote therapeutic practice within the home, and act as a positive role model for the children.

A comprehensive package is offered, including an annual salary of up to £37,000, £1000 signing-on fee, mentoring, career progression opportunities, 28 days annual leave, on-site training, access to Employee Assistance Program, casual dress code, company pension, and store discounts.

Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager in a children's residential home, a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Care, and a UK Driving Licence (willing to commute). A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care is preferred.
