We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Senior Childcare Practitioner to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in shaping the lives of vulnerable children and adolescents, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
About the JobThis is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise and passion for childcare to make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need. As a Senior Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily care and activities of the young people in your care, developing personalized plans to address their unique needs and goals.
You will lead and manage a team of dedicated childcare practitioners, promoting collaboration, open communication, and a culture of excellence. Your expertise will also be invaluable in supporting staff training and development, ensuring our team has the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the complex needs of our residents, collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery.
- Provide comprehensive care for young people, including daily living skills, emotional support, and therapeutic interventions.
- Lead and manage a team of childcare practitioners, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
- Pursue opportunities for career advancement and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services through innovation and best practices.
To succeed in this challenging and rewarding role, you must possess:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience working with vulnerable young adults or children who have suffered trauma.
- A valid full UK driving licence.

- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Up to 4 sleep-ins per month, paid at £80 each.
