Learning Disability Support Specialist

In this rewarding role, you will work as a Support Worker for HF Trust, providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Your primary goal is to empower these individuals to lead fulfilling lives, making informed decisions about their daily tasks, goals, and aspirations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy when working with clients who may have varying levels of ability. You will provide personalized support, enabling them to maintain relationships with family and friends, pursue hobbies, and participate in community activities. A valid driving license is an advantage but not a requirement.
Your compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate of £11.74, along with opportunities for overtime, Bank Holiday pay, and 33 days of annual leave (including statutory bank holidays). Additionally, you will receive training and development opportunities, including a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
