Experienced Sales Director

As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead our go-to-market strategy for Prime Sales across the Energy & Transportation industries. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for driving growth and innovation.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to spearhead our business expansion efforts. As the ideal candidate, you will provide strategic leadership to a high-performing team, fostering an atmosphere of energy, motivation, and commitment.
Main Responsibilities:- Revenue Growth: Develop and implement a customer-centric strategy to drive profitable and sustainable revenue growth through the development and implementation of a customer-centric approach that places customer experience, innovation, and engineering at its heart.
- Team Management: Mentor, manage, and develop a high-performing team. Provide energy, motivation, and direction. Set and monitor achievement against stretch targets and objectives.
- Caterpillar Relationship: Build strong relationships with Caterpillar on prime sales strategy, develop and own growth plans and targets within a Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) framework, understand and establish best-in-class dealer foundational capabilities.
- Sales Planning: Govern robust and effective approach to sales planning, forecasting, and execution to optimise invested capital returns.
- Sales Penetration: Analyse and drive sales penetration across key customers and markets. Capture customer insight and use it to inform focused relationship development strategies and behaviours.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree qualified, ideally engineering with a post-graduate qualification such as an MBA, would be beneficial.
- Demonstrable involvement in successfully managing sales growth.
- Experience in leading high-energy sales teams.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering sustainable and profitable revenue growth through the development and implementation of strategy and leadership of a high-performing team.
- Evidence of being an advocate of, and conduit for, transformational change within an organisation in terms of its response to external market dynamics, customer expectations, and disruptive technologies.
Compensation Package: We offer a highly competitive salary range of £190,000 to £210,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including a comprehensive health insurance plan and a generous pension scheme.
