Senior Physics Researcher

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of new technologies in the field of plasma physics. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work on cutting-edge projects, including Exhaust Experiments and Integrated Scenario Modelling, and collaborate with internal and external partners.
The position comes with a competitive salary of £67,023 (inclusive of MPP) and a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous annual leave allowance and flexible working options. As a key member of the UKAEA research team, you will play a pivotal role in advising senior management on strategy in the research field and representing the company at international meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD or equivalent in physics, engineering, or a closely-related discipline and a strong track record of leading interdisciplinary teams in an international research environment.
