Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Plasma Physics Specialist to join our research team at CCFE. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plasma physics and experience in leading research projects. As a Senior Plasma Physics Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting and leading research into plasma behaviour in fusion devices.

About the Role:
In this senior research position, you will work closely with our team of scientists and engineers to design and implement experiments on plasma confinement and stability. You will also be responsible for advising senior management on research strategy and representing the organisation at international conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct and lead research into plasma behaviour in fusion devices
* Design and implement experiments on plasma confinement and stability
* Advise senior management on research strategy
* Represent the organisation at international conferences

Requirements:
* PhD or equivalent in physics, engineering, or a closely-related discipline
* Strong background in plasma physics
* Experience in leading research projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
