Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Scientist to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The successful candidate will have a strong background in scientific research and be able to work effectively in a laboratory setting.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract for 48 months, working full-time hours. The salary for this position is approximately £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • To conduct experiments and collect data in accordance with established protocols
  • To maintain accurate records of experimental results and procedures
  • To collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals
  • To stay up-to-date with the latest developments in scientific research and technology

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as physics, chemistry, or biology, and have significant experience working in a laboratory environment.
