Event Coordinator Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an Event Coordinator Specialist to join our team at the Mary Lyon Centre, MRC Harwell. As an integral part of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the Advance training centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage event services bookings, including event planning, on-the-day support, delegate registration, health & safety, catering, and transport.
- Day-to-day management of the Advance facility, ensuring any defects are reported promptly and minimising the impact on events planned.
- Coordinate room planning, movement of equipment and furniture to meet visitors' requirements, and best utilise available space.
- Ensure GDPR compliance in all correspondence.
- Line manage and support one Advance administrator, training them in events management.
- Develop marketing materials to publicise existing courses and increase stakeholder engagement.
- Analyse data and customer feedback to inform future marketing strategies and event planning decisions.
- Report on financial accounts, raise orders, invoices, and ensure budgetary requirements are met.
- Host events, ensuring visitors' needs are met, feedback and requests are dealt with, and ideas for improvement are followed up.
Salary and Benefits
