Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team, working full-time hours, 38.5 hours per week, nights only. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care to our residents, working closely with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in person-centered care planning and experience in caring for individuals with dementia. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your job and building strong relationships with your colleagues. You will also be involved in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to our residents

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in caring for individuals with dementia
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and take appropriate action
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000-£28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career development.
