Newton Aycliffe, Durham, United Kingdom HC One Full time

At HC-One, we value kindness above all in our roles as caregivers. As a Care Assistant, you will touch every aspect of Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes, giving something back to people with their own stories to tell.

This is a full-time night position that requires an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team at one of our care homes. Our focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times.

We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the physical, emotional well-being, and social needs of our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Delivering a level of care that truly comes from the heart is essential, making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality.

The role involves getting involved in general activities within the care home, such as assisting with personal care activities like washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You will be able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm, or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns.

We provide full training, so it's a great opportunity to learn something new. In return, you will enjoy access to benefits and services to support your well-being, including an hourly rate paid subject to experience and qualifications, paid Enhanced DBS/PVG, free uniform, a nutritious meal during shifts over 8 hours, company pension scheme, 28 days annual leave, group life assurance cover, and more.
