Senior Care Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing care plans that promote independence, security, and dignity for our residents. You will also lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring they maintain the highest standards of care and provide excellent support to our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting Registered Nurses and Care Managers in delivering high-quality care services
  • Providing physical and mental stimulation through activities and social engagement
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery
