Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Revenue Generation to join our team at Virgin Trains. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective yield strategies to maximize revenue delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of revenue optimization strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to deliver strong financial results.
  • Embed and cultivate revenue optimization practices across the revenue trading team and the wider business.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Drive results and take the business to the next level through innovative thinking and a customer-centric approach.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in revenue management and commercial revenue optimization.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and develop talent to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
