Job Overview



The Field Application Specialist for Reproductive Health will support the Diagnostics sales organization in achieving defined revenue targets for assigned product lines. Key responsibilities include working with the EU territory sales and marketing team to develop pre and post-sales strategies, providing technical support to local teams and users, and acting as a technical consultant for customer quoting and troubleshooting.



Key Responsibilities




  • Assist the sales team in assessing customer needs, differentiating Revvity’s value proposition, and handling customer objections.
  • Provide technical support to local teams and users, including instrument demonstrations, sample running, and technical guidance on quoting and troubleshooting.
  • Act as a technical consultant for customer quoting and troubleshooting.
  • Support the internal and external sales force for tenders and offers by defining configurations and application solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Develop targeted account strategies to deliver annual business and share growth targets for key accounts.
  • Generate a strong customer referral base and utilize it effectively.


Demonstrations




  • Plan and manage demos in agreement with sales agents and account managers, reporting outcomes.
  • Provide effective and timely high-level demos.
  • Own the demo inventory for defined product lines.


Marketing




  • Provide technical competitive intelligence to the European Field Product Leader for differentiation over competition.
  • Contribute to marketing collateral.


Training




  • Assist in training internal and external sales channels to drive sales activities.
  • Develop sales teams' skills for simple demos and independent selling.
  • Provide training assistance to Service partners on instrument usage.
  • Develop customer training material and ensure adequate standards of excellence in customer training.
  • Deliver product training to customers and provide post-sales support.


Education and Experience




  • Degree in Molecular Biology or similar, or experience working with NGS workflow and/or Bioinformatics.
  • Previous sales experience is beneficial, though applications from laboratory scientists with NGS workflow/Bioinformatics experience and looking to move into a commercial role are welcome.
  • Ability to define and promote added-value solutions for customers.
  • Good and fluent English to communicate, with other languages considered an advantage.
  • Demonstratable experience in an informatics environment.

  • Meetings, conference calls, and process documentation will require good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be Professional and Ethical with high Integrity.
  • Proactive mindset with strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.


Travel Requirements




  • Available to travel across all EU, averaging 3 days per week away from home.
  • Prepared to travel occasionally to support other areas outside the assigned territory.
