Job Summary:We are seeking a Europe Sales Leader to join our efforts to continue empowering customers around the world. The Europe Sales Leader is responsible for the execution of the overall Revvity Signals global sales strategy, as well as the tailoring, development, and implementation of aspects of the strategy that need to be modified to reflect country-specific market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for the overall achievement of regional sales financial objectives.
- Develop team's sales goals and execution plans using territory and market data.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies within EMEA to drive market penetration of existing product portfolio, as well as work closely with the Product Management team to facilitate customer feedback for new product direction.
- Assess, identify, select, train, and coach leadership and broader team, including daily/weekly/monthly management, and identify formal training opportunities for existing team.
- Accurately maintain sales forecast, achieving quarterly and yearly orders/revenue targets.
- Build out a regional strategic plan to map with the overall global sales objectives.
- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for region, track, and manage team to ensure targets are being met.
- Expand reseller partners (as needed and with the help of Global Channel Partners) and build out inside sales team.
- Continuously assess competitive information and trends, keeping Executive management and BU informed of ongoing activities and developments.
- Align with broader organization (Marketing/Product Management/Service) to ensure customer needs are met to maximize business value.
- Strong operational skills to create and execute processes to run a successful commercial organization.
- 5+ years of senior sales management experience, preferably at Sr.
- 7+ years' experience in selling enterprise software solutions (products and services) to the pharma/biotech, food & beverage, chemical & petrochemical, academic, and government markets. Selling scientific data management, research informatics, laboratory informatics, or scientific visualization and analytics is preferred. Enterprise SaaS sales experience a must.
- Highly committed, competitive, and goal-driven sales management professional with a track record of success in achieving sales goals, selecting, and developing talent and creating dynamic team relationships.
- Experience in building highly successful teams and results-oriented regional plans for team execution.
- Strong management and coaching skills, with proven ability to hold reps accountable for results; ability to manage for top performance.
- Formal education in chemistry, physics, or life sciences preferred (BS, MS, or PhD), but not required.
- Travel required.
- Ability to assess team capabilities, actively managing performance and building a high-performing team for growth.
- Ability to identify critical actions and adjust priorities as necessary along with proven time management skills.
- Demonstrate technical capacity to understand sales tools (Web, database, CRM, Order Management, reports) and be able to effectively articulate technical information in an easily understood manner.
