We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to be based in the UK, covering the surrounding areas and UK regions as required. This role will involve hands-on work with our life sciences and diagnostics instrumentations lines.

In this role, the Field Service Engineer will act as the face of the company, ensuring our customer needs are met with high-quality service.

The initial products that will be supported include our Reproductive Health portfolio, with the aim of expanding to a broader portfolio later on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field service as advised by Customer Care in conjunction with the Service/Team Leader.
  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of current and future Life Science/Diagnostics instrument portfolio.
  • Provide first-line onsite user training on life science and diagnostics systems.
  • Organise routine maintenance allocated on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain ancillary documentation, including Safety Manual and Procedures Manual, to the highest standard.

Requirements:

  • Relevant education or equivalent experience (e.g., Bachelor in Electronic Engineering or Biotechnology).
  • Experience in a Customer Service Environment, preferably with Life Science instrument applications.
  • Good communications skills and a strong customer service ethic.
  • Prepared to travel and hold a full driving license.
