Job Overview

The Respiratory Care Team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead our team in providing expert care to patients with chronic respiratory disease.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert supportive care for respiratory patients, preventing avoidable hospital attendances and promoting focused self-management.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with the local respiratory team, CPFT colleagues, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless service of care.
  • Act as a community respiratory care resource for patients and other health professionals.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, with part-time hours considered for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly across the countywide respiratory service.

Requirements

  • NMC/HCPC registration.
  • Experience in respiratory care and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
