Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic Liaison Psychiatry Service at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality assessments, formulations, and care plans for individuals in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to multi-disciplinary clinical assessment and management of patients
- Undertake biopsychosocial assessments and risk management plans
- Promote a safe and effective service in the Emergency Department
- Maintain professional presence for patients, carers, and staff
- Collaborate with community mental health teams and other agencies
- A permanent role in a prestigious Liaison Psychiatry Service
- The opportunity to work with highly skilled psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists
- A dynamic work environment with 10-hour shifts on a 24/7 rota
- Registration as a Mental Health Nurse or equivalent
- Experience in mental health services and clinical risk management
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Advanced IT skills and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of person-centred care and recovery principles
