About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic Liaison Psychiatry Service at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality assessments, formulations, and care plans for individuals in the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary clinical assessment and management of patients
  • Undertake biopsychosocial assessments and risk management plans
  • Promote a safe and effective service in the Emergency Department
  • Maintain professional presence for patients, carers, and staff
  • Collaborate with community mental health teams and other agencies

Requirements
  • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse or equivalent
  • Experience in mental health services and clinical risk management
  • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
  • Advanced IT skills and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of person-centred care and recovery principles
